ČSAD LOGISTIK Ostrava a.s. is as a member of OSTRA GROUP a.s.
OSTRA GROUP a.s. is a group of interconnected companies specializing in different areas. Among those are companies specializing in the improvement of car driving characteristics, personal transport and haulage and real estate ownership, which provide both for comfortable living, as well as business.
1949 – establishment of the national company ČSAD for the transport of passengers and goods.
1964 – transformation into the position of regional enterprise ČSAD Ostrava n.p.
1992 – privatization of the company and establishment of the joint-stock company ČSAD Ostrava.
1997 – creation of a corporation from the transport companies ČSAD České Budějovice, Chrudim, Kutná Hora, Prachatice and the subsidiary ČSAD Lvivavtotrans in Ukraine.
1999 – transformation of the company into a holding structure and the creation of ČSAD LOGISTIK Ostrava a.s.
2000 – incorporation of freight transport from ČSAD Kutná Hora and Chrudim into the company ČSAD LOGISTIK Ostrava.
2001 – restructuring of the company with a comprehensive change of the vehicle fleet, certification of the company ISO 9002.
2002 – implementation of an information system linked to the tracking of vehicles and shipments.
2003 – EN ISO 9001:2000 and 14001 company certification.
2004 – establishment of a subsidiary in Ukraine.
2005 – implementation of GPS technology for the entire vehicle fleet.
2006 – implementation of EchoTrack technology for efficient driving control.
2007 – centralization of the control room in the new premises of ČSAD LOGISTIK in Olomouc. Renewal of the vehicle fleet in the number of 60 units of emission class EURO 3.
2008 – renewal of the vehicle fleet in the number of 80 units of emission class EURO 3.
2010 – involvement in the Social Responsibility Surveys project.
2011 – renewal of the vehicle fleet in the number of 60 units of emission class EURO 5. Victory in the Social Responsibility Survey in the category of up to 250 employees. Expansion of the service portfolio by air and sea transport.
2012 – renewal of the vehicle fleet in the number of 80 units of emission class EURO 5. In the program of the National Prize of the Czech Republic for CSR, we received the title “Socially Responsible Company”. 2nd place in the Survey of Social Responsibility in the category of up to 250 employees.
2013 – expansion of warehouse space, capacity of approx. 3,500 pallet places. Participation in the Mohelnice Truck Trial Grand Prix 2013.
Successful completion of the control audit according to EN ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. Participation in the Social Responsibility Survey in the category of up to 250 employees.
2014 – expansion of the vehicle fleet by 10 vehicles of emission class EURO 5 (for combined transport). Expansion of warehouse space, capacity of approx. 4100 pallet places.
2015 – successful completion of recertification audit according to ISO standards. Installation of a camera system in the warehouse. Opening of a warehouse in Šumperk.
2016 – possibility to rent vehicles and semi-trailers. Involvement in the vocational training project of POVEZ II employees. Change of part of the vehicle fleet (Mercedes-Benz vehicles of emission class EURO 6). Established cooperation with the School of Logistics and Chemistry. Termination of the warehouse in Šumperk.
2017 – participation in the Grand Prix Mohelnice Truck Trial 2017. Successful completion of the control audit according to ISO standards. In September, we reached the number of 1,000 unit parcels transported, with a delivery success rate of 96.5%.
2018 – successful completion of recertification audit according to ISO standards. Expansion of the vehicle fleet by Ford vehicles (emission class EURO 6). Expansion of warehouse space with a temperature-controlled warehouse in Mohelnice (800 m3). Affordable combined shipments (LCL, FCL) from China to Europe. Start of implementation of the Dolož.to project.
2019 – our company’s customs services received the AEO certificate. Finalization of the Dolož.to project.
2020 – replacement of the vehicle fleet in the number of 65 units of emission class EURO 6 (55 units of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, 10 units of Ford vehicles). Initiation of merger with Mátra Transport a.s. Implementation of a subsidy project for the purchase of semi-trailers for combined transport.
2021 – finalization of the merger with Mátra Transport a.s. Start of construction of a new storage hall with a total area of 3,325 m2, which will offer up to 7,000 pallet spaces.
2022 – opening of a new logistics warehouse in Olomouc-Hodolany, expanding capacity up to 60,000 pallet spaces
2023 – opening of a new logistics center in Mohelnice, the hall is divided into two parts, 12,000 and 24,000 pallet places

In the area of motosport we are represented by the racing team of the company FESH FESH Group, the history of which dates back to 2012. This team regularly finishes high in the scoreboard in the category of long distance truck rallye. The best achievements were 1. place at Baja Poland in 2021, 9. place at Rallye Dakar in 2020 or 3. place in Baja Spain in 2021. One of the pilots and simultaneously the team leader is Tomáš Vrátný, the owner of OSTRA Group and the head of the board of directors of ČSAD Logistik a.s.
In terms of our sport projects, we further support the basketball team NH Ostrava and also the highest Czech tennis league of teams Tenisová extraliga.
However, our support is not limited only to sports projects. We also support organizations which care and provide for sick, disabled or disadvantaged individuals and municipal hospitals, among other institutions.
